2008 FORD SUPERFAN SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Ford Superfan Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is OPEN TO U.S. CITIZENS RESIDING IN THE 48 CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE LICENSED DRIVERS AGE 18 OR OLDER AS OF 09/19/08. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALASKA, HAWAII, PUERTO RICO, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, U.S. MILITARY INSTALLATIONS LOCATED IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES. Employees, contractors, directors, dealers, their employees and immediate family members (spouses, siblings, children, household members and the spouses and children of the foregoing) of Ford Motor Company (the "Sponsor"), and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, trustees, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies (the "Sweepstakes Entities") are not eligible. Sweepstakes begins on 9/2/2008 at 12:00 PM EST and concludes on 11/25/2008, at 5:00 PM EST.
To Enter: For your chance to win one of the three (3) prizes, complete an on-line registration form on the fordracingevents.com website. You will be asked to provide your first and last name, complete mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and date of birth. You may also be asked to answer optional questions; however, they need not be answered in order to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. You may also hand-print your name, complete mailing address, daytime phone number and date of birth on a 3” x 5” card and mail in a first-class stamped envelope to: “Ford Superfan Sweepstakes”, c/o Ford Racing Events.com P.O. Box 490, Dearborn, MI 48121-9961. All methods of entry must be received by the specified time frame. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON, REGARDLESS OF MEANS OF ENTRY. MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND MECHANICALLY REPRODUCED COPIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Conditions: Ford Motor Company (Sponsor), its dealers, and each of their respective agencies, personnel, subsidiaries and any other company associated with this program are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, misdirected or illegible entries. Illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, mutilated or garbled entries will be disqualified. Entries must be submitted by the entrant. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to entrant. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any portion of the Sweepstakes.
Drawings: Three (3) Winners will be selected. The First winner will be selected on or around 9/19/2008, the Second Winner on or around 10/24/2008, and the Third winner on or around 11/25/2008 in a random drawing conducted by an Administrator from among all the eligible entries received. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. The decisions of the Administrator will be final and binding. The winner(s) will be notified within 24 hours of the drawing by phone and must meet all eligibility requirements including the execution and delivery of all necessary releases and documents.

For All Prizes: Winners are responsible for taxes on the value of their prize and will receive a IRS Form 1099. Except as specifically provided herein, Prize package does not include taxes, insurance, telephone charges, personal expenses, travel arrangements to/from airport(s), ground transportation, gratuities, passenger facility charges (PFCs), departure taxes, incidental charges, or any other item not specifically described in these Official Rules. All expenses for any of the foregoing are the sole responsibility of the Prize winners. Travel must be taken on the specified dates. If Sponsor cannot find an eligible winner who is able to travel on these dates in time to satisfy verification procedures, an alternate winner may be selected, at a Sponsor’s sole discretion, through a random drawing from all eligible entries. No extensions will be permitted, and any unused travel will be forfeited. Travel restrictions apply. Once confirmed, trip dates and travel accommodations cannot be changed. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same dates, itinerary and class. All prizes are nontransferable, may not be changed, extended or exchanged for cash, credit or another vacation, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor will not redeem winner’s existing frequent flyer miles in exchange for cash. In order to claim prize, additional releases and/or waivers of liability required by any applicable sanctioning body shall also be required as appropriate. Expenses not stated are solely the responsibility of the winners in this Sweepstakes. Travel and any other expenses not stated in relation to any prize are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem a prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value, if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Limit of one (1) prize per person per household.
General Conditions: Winners, by acceptance of prize, (a) agree that Sponsor, its dealers, and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective shareholders, members, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winners against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, and (b) except where legally prohibited, grant permission (and agree to confirm that grant in writing, upon request) for the Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation. All prizes have been furnished for promotional or advertising consideration and will be awarded in “As Is” condition. Winners may be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and where lawful, publicity releases within ten (10) days of notification. If documents are not returned timely or if any prize notification or prize is returned as nondeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Decisions by Administrators on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes are final.
Conduct: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at the Sweepstakes site throughout the Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the administrator and Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and its dealers, respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, and any other entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes (all of the foregoing collectively referred to as “Sponsors and Administrators”), are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors and Administrators assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsors and Administrators are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes or the Internet portion of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors and Administrators which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
